In an age of endless opportunities to try different workout studios it is hard to know what to try and where to go. Many utilizing a platform like Classpass or studios themselves offering first time classes for free. This is how I got introduced to Bounce Society in Costa Mesa. After my first class, I was hooked. All of their instructors are friendly and run high energy classes that kick your butt each and every time. When I go to a workout class, I want to walk out feeling like I am going to be extremely sore the next day.

Squat it out

I would highly recommend that you start with their "basics" (Bounce 1.0) class which slowly goes through each move that are utilized in the more advanced classes. No matter what you will feel uncoordinated, off balance and totally off beat. I am not a dancer. I have never been in cheer, taken dance class or ballet, heck I practically have two left feet. So it has taken me a good amount of time to get the hang of class and their basic moves. First week unlimited for $25. Such a steal!

*Protip: for your first couple of classes, claim a trampoline at the back of class, but where you have a clear view of the instructor

Here's the rundown of Bounce Society's classes:

*Bounce 1: learn the basic moves at a slower pace

*Bounce 1.5: A little faster beat & moves strung together to make combos

*Bounce 2.0: half of the class is bounce based and half is toning

*Bounce 3: Very fast paced combos for more intermediate/expert bouncers (45 mins)

*HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training using the trampolines

*Barre: half of their studio has barres to use for toning

*Sculpt: Toning class using the trampolines

The instructors always play the best music to bounce to and the most fun bounce combos. I continually look forward to my workouts here. Although I live 25 minutes away from the studio, I absolutely will drive there for class. The best part is their class schedule ranges from 6am to 6:45pm depending on when is most convenient for your schedule.

With this "Stay Home" initiative due to our uncertain times Bounce Society rented out trampolines to members and allowing them to use their streaming services to bounce, sculpt and dance from home. Everyday, Bounce Society is conducting free Instagram live classes to keep clients engaged. I absolutely love continuing to bounce with my babes even if it is through Instagram.

*Protip: You can stream their workouts with the code: STAYCALM

'Jump' on in! Lets bounce together to stay happy, healthy and strong!!! Cheers!!!
