It's date night....Groundhog Day againnnnnn. You both look at one another and know it's either order in food and watch Netflix or make something and watch Netflix. But we have been doing this same monotonous routine for weeks now. We all want to keep dating fun, exciting and spicy. So here's our list of go-to date nights during quarantine:

*Picnic in the park/your own backyard
*Get active- play catch, shoot hoops, rollerblade, go on a hike, take a walk
*Ride bikes
*Take a Zoom cooking class! Hipcooks is a great cooking school that Wes & I took a class at before the lockdown
*Take a dance class in your living room
*Wine taste in different rooms in your house & have little explanation cards with each wine. Also, Old Vine Kitchen & Bar (located in Costa Mesa, CA) does virtual wine tastings with their Sommelier
*Questions to delve deeper into your relationship. We really loved: Questions for Couples and 36 Questions That Lead to Love
*Virtual game night using Zoom with your favorite couples near and far- We absolutely love playing Code Names.
*Progressive dinner night- order an appetizer, entree and dessert from different local restaurants. This way you can patronize your local favorites to keep them in business until this craziness is over. You will get to try different types of food from the comfort of your own home.
*Bored of the same old drink? Hipcooks offers an Instagram Live cocktail class on Saturdays at 4pm PT. It will become the happiest of hours for you on a Saturday.
*Cooking class with your favorite people via Zoom. One couple picks a recipe & emails out the ingredients the week of the class. Have fun making and experimenting with new ingredients.
*DIY projects for your home- we have our eyes on a wine rack made from an old wine barrel
*Take Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University class-They are offering a 2 week free trial of their Financial Peace University seminar where you can watch all the videos that are normally included in their 9 week class. This will help you both work on saving, talking about money and how you both view finances and spending
*Try out a new church through their live streams
*Plan a vacation to look forward to! We all need a light at the end of this crazy tunnel. Scott's Cheap Flights is a great resource to find steal and deals on flights. They are currently sending alerts for flights August 2020 onward, in addition to airlines who will issue a refund if stay home ordinances continue or plans change.
Enjoy the time with your significant other without all the noise and normal rat race of life. Embrace the quality time and ability to create your own fun! Cheers!!!
